What did you do? How did the news reach you? Did you read Einat's email...telling you that the Love of her Life had finally lost his battle? Or did a friend's phone call soften the blow to your heart?
Nico called me. We didn't speak much. We were out of words and our worlds simply hadn't experienced a tragedy to help us comprehend.
Ayal Margalith died two years ago at age 35. He had been a father to his two girls for only about a month.
Ofri & Lior celebrated their second birthday in October - they are walking and talking (English & Hebrew), they are incredibly cute and as different as sun & moon... and both so beautiful and spirited!
When you think of Ayal today and tomorrow...and probably every now and then for the rest of your life - say a little prayer for Lior & Ofri. And for Einat - a truly amazing woman and wonderful mother!
