Cigar-"Rebuild, Return Home"

On Thursday morning, Nov. 10, 2022, William "Cigar" Sadberry's home was destroyed by fire. He suffered 2nd and 3rd-degree burns and is presently in John Hopkins Burn Center. Cigar is 102 years old and insists he has 18 more years left on his contract with God! He has been a well-known member of the Pittsville community for over 70 years. His doctors' expectations are for him to make a full recovery back to independent living. Without a doubt, when he is medically able, he will want to return to his hometown. As a family and community, we want to make that possible. We are raising additional funds to build a home that will accommodate his needs and help with medical expenses.
