The tragic death of Augustine Xavier Acevedo has rocked our Mullica Township Community. We are saddened and heartbroken for his Mom, Jaime, and Dad, Augustine - and all of his extended family and friends as they grieve.
Cierra Justice Fifer was his classmate growing up, friend, best friend, girlfriend and long-time love. She currently is stationed with the United States Air Force in Qatar. The USAF has provided her with leave to return to New Jersey to say "goodbye" - however the military cannot pay for her travel as they were not married.
Both Cierra and Xavier were both former students of mine. Please find it in your heart to help Cierra return home to say "farewell" to her Augustine - and return to her military posting.
