On Sunday, May 2, 2021 Drew and Daris Ciecierski lost everything they owned to a tragic house fire.
Fortunately, Drew was able to get their 15 month old baby girl (June) to safety. But when he re-entered the home to save his wife the home was already in flames.
He was able to get Daris to safety but not without both of them suffering burns that are requiring a great deal of medical care.
Drew's burns were not as severe as Daris'. They both have a lot to recover from. Daris' will be months of surgeries and skin grafting, as she has been burned over 89% of her body .
And to add on is the mental anguish that they are suffering. They can't see their baby girl until they are released from care. For Daris, this will be months.
Daris is a Social Worker who cares so much for the cause.
Drew is a Teacher who believes and cares for his students.
They give to the community daily...we ask that the community support them during this time of great need.
