Cici Needs Our Help!

This is my great-niece Cianna Vizcarrondo. She is the youngest of triplets. From the age of 1 to 3.5 she was on a liquid diet high in calories so that she could gain weight. Her parents were informed by her doctors that in order for her to grow she had to drink a special type of milk that would ultimately affect her teeth in the long run. In order to gain we also had to lose. We have been brushing her teeth 2-4 times a day and even with that she lost tooth surface. Cianna has been religiously seen by pediatric dentist every 6 months to monitor her teeth. In order to restore her teeth and fix everything up she would have to be put under anesthesia. However, due to Cianna’s chronic lung disease she was not cleared to be put under any circumstances until April 2017. When we met with the Children’s Hospital in June 2017 to start her dental procedure we were informed that the wait list is over 16 months long. I continued to look around and found a pediatric dental practice that would be able to complete Cianna’s work at the hospital by January 2018. However the cost is well over $6,000 with an out of pocket cost of $1,750. That might not seem like a lot but with any dental work it has to be paid in full before any treatment can be done, and with a family of 5 by niece Jackie and her husband do not have it. They are trying their best to sell things and raise the funds so that Cianna can get the treatment done as soon possible.

What we love about this procedure is that it will be done in the OR at the Children’s Hospital! She will be in great hands! She will be able to get all of her work done in one sitting and come home with a new smile!

I am asking for your help to help our precious Cianna! This a needed procedure and she has met many challenges since being born way prematurely. Cianna would appreciate your help.
