Ciaran is set to embark on the trip of a lifetime, travelling to China to take part in the 2019 International Futsal Alliance World Cup. The global tournament will see nations from Europe, Oceania, North America and Asia compete to be crowned world champions.
The Scottish team has been training hard on the court and putting in a huge amount of effort off it, to make this opportunity a reality. With a month to go, the countdown is well and truly on.
This trip is entirely self funded. And as you can imagine the costs stack up. Flights and visas to make the trip are the main cost, but there is also training costs back home, playing kit and lots more. Any contributions you can make to the cause are hugely appreciated - they go a long way.
The tournament takes place from the 21-25 August in Jiangmen. All of the games will be broadcast online, so we hope to have your support from afar when the time comes. For more information about the tournament click here .
