Legalo and John Chu-Shing, Richard's parents, have requested the school post Richard's graduation clip to celebrate and share this beautiful event with our school community.
Richard passed away recently, 18 days after he graduated at his family home, after a long battle with cancer. He graduated with his Queensland Certificate of Education and was the first student to graduate from the Certificate III in Aviation (Drone Program).
The Mabel Park State High School community wraps our arms around the Chu-Shing family in this tough time.
Special thanks to Smoke Creative for donating their film production services, QCAA for their hard work to officially recognise Richard's achievements and friends and family who supported Richard and his family throughout.
Due to the overwhelming support from the school community and abroad, the Mabel Park State High School P & C association has created this GoFundMe page to financially support the Chu-Shing family. All proceeds will go directly to the family.
