Churchill Soccer Travel Team

Hi,

Our travel soccer teams are fundraising to participate in the WYSA GoldenBoy Tournament that takes place in Winnipeg from February 11-13th.

This tournament will take place at 3 venues and will host 115+ teams from Canada and beyond.

We will be sending 3 teams that consist of athletes from the ages of 7-13. (Some of our athletes have never been to Winnipeg before). We have 30 athletes going and 10 chaperones.

It is a “once in a lifetime” opportunity for these athletes and will be a trip of everlasting significance, with memories and friendships being shared.

However, due to our geographical location, we will have to travel overnight on a train, then drive 8 hours to our venue/hotel. With the cost of travel, hotel stay, registration and meals, our trip will be quite costly.

We, graciously, have been given support from our fundraising efforts, some of our local/external businesses, our school division and Indigenous Associations. However, we still need to fundraise more.
