Chuco's Surgery and ICU Stay

Hello everyone. Meet Chuco.
Chuco aka Chuco Bear is an Olde English Bulldogge who just turned one last month. He's the most people loving dog you could ever meet, and his life goal is to get out in the world and meet as many humans as he can. Chuco's always been a snorer and a snorter, however, recently he began to develop episodes where he would completely stop breathing in his sleep. When I saw him wake up the first time gasping for air I knew it was more than snoring.
As with many short faced dogs, Chuco's cute little muzzle caused him to have what's known as an elongated soft palate. After speaking with the vet and seeing a veterinarian surgeon, it was decided that he would need to have a surgery to prevent further respiratory issues as well as other complications such as heart failure and tracheal collapse.
His procedure went well though the surgeon noted that his palate was both extremely long and extremely thick. He was up and walking within a couple hours of his surgery. However four hours later, he took a turn for the worse and it was noted that he had signs of aspiration pneumonia. He had to be kept in an oxygen cage in the ICU and get multiple IV antibiotics and anti-nausea medications. While his pneumonia improved, he still had difficulty breathing. He ended up needing to have more of his palate removed to decrease the thickness so he could breathe more easily.
This little guy is my entire world. He kept me going when medical school was getting the best of me. He gave me a purpose, and I'll do whatever it takes for him. However, as a student the extra unexpected costs of the ICU and revision are beyond my means. Any donation would be much appreciated to help keep this little guy getting the care he needs.
