Chuck's Open Heart Surgery Fund
As many of you know my Dad, Chuck Day, was admitted into the hospital Thursday night (10/25/18). He was having chest pains, and was concerned that there might be a problem with his heart. After extensive testing on Friday the physician's determined that seven (7) of his arteries were clogged, one of them was clogged 100%. Due to this he is now in the hospital awaiting open heart surgery. He will be having a quadruple bypass surgery the week of October 31.
In 1989 Chuck and Selena stepped out into full time ministry. In doing so they gave up the security and benefits that come with full time work. They have no paid vacation, sick days, or insurance. They rely on the grace of God, and on love offerings everywhere they sing for their income.
Chuck's surgery will put him out of work for an estimated 6 - 8 weeks. This means that he'll be very unlikely to make any of his scheduled ministry dates for the remainder of the year.
As Chuck and Selena's daughter I have had many of the people who have been touched by Chuck's ministry ask how they can help at this time. Myself, and those who love Chuck are asking for that support now. We are asking that friends, family, and brothers / sisters in Christ to support Chuck and Selena during this time of healing.
In Corinthians Paul teaches the Church to take care of one another. To give and support one another especially for the body (Christians) to support the body (other Christians).
Because Chuck and Selena will home bound, unable to travel and make their living we are asking for support in this time of need. Our goal is to raise $7500 to replace the income they will be losing.
This amount does not include the money they'll need to purchase Christmas, or take care of medical expenses. We are believing God to show up and take care of these needs, and we ask that you partner with us to be a part of this blessing for Chuck and Selena.
