Why is Christy seeking donations?

My friend Christy has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, or more specifically, malignant neuroendocrine carcinoma.  She is having the Whipple Procedure on 9/19/2018.  This is a very complex surgery with a very long recovery time.

How will my donation help?

Your donation will assist Christy and Jordan (her partner of 10 years) to afford travel accommodations during testing and surgery, lost income, medical bills, prescription medication, and medical equipment.

What other ways can I help?
