Christy's Ride to Recovery
On Thursday, July 19, 2018, Christy Clark Tallman was in a terrible car accident. She was driving home from work in the rain when her car suddenly hydroplaned into on-coming traffic, hitting another car. She suffered 21 broken bones including breaks in both legs and 13 ribs. She has gone through 2 different surgeries and has been in the hospital for 4 weeks.
Christy is an amazingly strong person and continues to persevere through all of this. As she prepares to go home her and Rod, her husband, face another set of challenges in her recovery. She will need the assistance of several different medical devices to help with day to day life. She will be wheelchair bound for quite some time, requiring ramps and a chair lift to access her home. She will also need special transportation to get to and from work when she is able to return.
As you can imagine this is quite an unexpected event in Christy and Rod's lives. We've started this page to show them some love and help to ease the unexpected expenses they now face.
