Christ the Good Shepherd Church

Christ the Good Shepherd American Coptic Orthodox Church needs your help to purchase a church ASAP.
We need your help to resume our services. We are currently a homeless church dedicated to serving the homeless and at-risk community of Long Beach. Due to not having a permanant location, we have had to limit our current services to once a month. We are asking for your donations to help us raise the funds for our down payment to resume our services and ministry on a daily basis.

Here at Christ the Good Shepherd American Coptic Orthodox Church we have been thankfully serving Long Beach for the past year. The Church is commanded to tend to those who are in need, homeless, at-risk, and brokenhearted. By the grace of God we have been able to start a church with this mission—to love the poor.

Every weekend we serve 150-250 people: we share food, we share clothing, we share stories, we share Christ. As we meet one another in brokenness, we pray together and we cry together. This has given us a taste of what the Church can offer to the community. As the service grows each weekend, more and more people are eager to come and share and serve; however, we have outgrown our current location. God-willing, we will offer these services daily in a new home (one mile away from our current location in Long Beach) to facilitate the growth of the services.

Thanks be to God, with the donations of His saints, we have been blessed with an opportunity to be able to seek and serve Christ regularly.
