Chris Powell's Recovery

Hello Everyone,

By now most of you have heard the tragic news of dear Christopher Powell:

Early Saturday morning on the 13th of January 2018, Christopher somehow veered off the road, hit a tree and tumbled down an embankment.  He was hanging upside down when paramedics arrived and was rushed to Tacoma General Hospital.

There he was put into a medically induced coma to protect his organs from further damage while they assessed his prognosis.  Physically, he has only suffered a broken cheek bone on his right side and minimal cuts and bruising.

The devastating news is that he has severe permanent damage to his brain caused by the accident.  As of right now, he is still in a coma and we won't have many answers for days or even weeks to come.

As most of you know, Christopher is one of most selfless people you will ever meet.  His charismatic presence will fill a room in a heartbeat and he is there to get to know each and every person in that room.  He cares deeply about every single person in his life and if you need anything, even just a hug, he will drop just about anything to be there for you.

Unfortunately, the family found out recently that this will be a long, long road, spaning at least 6-12 months and the costs of his recovery are going to be almost insurmountable for the Powell family.

While we know the goal is steep, any donation is more than the Powell family is expecting and we thank you for your incredible gesture.
