Christopher's Burn Surgery

Christopher is a 13 yo burn survivor.  He was burned as a 2 yo from a gas fire.  His injuries included grafting for 85% of his body and a 50% loss of hearing.  After months in a coma and 2 episodes of sepsis, he survived.  Now as a wonderful 13 yo boy who just received a Creative Writing award and was on the AB honor roll, he requires extensive surgery.  
Chris cannot stand up straight or walk properly due to his growth spurts, and his doctor needs to perform extensive surgery to his neck, torso, both sides and both legs in one surgery.  This is because his grafts cannot stretch any further and he has contractures from prior surgeries.
As a single Mother I am his only home famiy member and wage earner.   I am a former EMT, and just completed a CPR course as well as training to care for him.  We need your help to allow me to take the time from work to care for Chris during and after his hospital stay for approx. 3 months.  I am not on gov't assistance and have been self employed for 4 years.  I also work 10 hrs a week for a home health care company.  
I am asking for any help you can give with deepest gratitude.  I need my son to be well, and my son needs me to get there.  He will also need things like large shirts with buttons to wear over his surgery sites and home medical supplies.
I will be staying in his hospital room until he is released, approx. a week to two weeks.  Then we will return home and I will set up my room as his hospital room for the next few months for him to recover.  He requires weekly drives to the hospital, 21/2 hrs each way, I will home school him when he is ready until he can return to school.
