Christopher Barrett Fund

On Saturday, October 25, Christopher Barrett miraculously survived a hunting accident. He sustained a shotgun blast to the face and upper torso, resulting in the loss of his left eye, serious damage to his right eye, face and left shoulder. He is now home from the hospital and recovering from broken facial bones and shoulder injuries, sustained from many #6 shot pellet wounds at close range. He has also had recent surgery on his right eye. We are praying that he will regain vision in his eye, but right now it's too early to tell. At present, he has very limited vision of white light and shadows. He will need reconstructive surgery to his face and may need another surgery on his eye.
If you know Chris, you know how much he loves the outdoors. Chris dosen't lounge around his house. If he's not working, he's either hunting, fishing, scuba diving or preparing for it. He is facing a drastic change to his life. Chris is the sole bread winner of his family and has a wife, Heather, and 3 young boys to take care of. We don't know what the future yet holds. The road to recovery will be a long one and we know that money is going to be an issue, at least early on. It will be quite some time before he may be able to work again. For now, we ask that you join us in supporting Chris and his family with your love, prayers and donations. His appreciation for those who are helping him runs very deep.
