Christopher Tuohy ENL Scholarship

This scholarship is in honor of Christopher Tuohy.  Chris will be retiring this June but will forever leave his mark on the South Huntington Community and the ENL population he so passionately served.  Chris is a graduate of Walt Whitman High school who came back to work as an ENL high school counselor where he started his own education many years ago.  Chris is a father, brother, loving husband and caring mentor to all.  He has been a pillar of strength and steadfast advocate for the entire ENL population of our community for 11 years.  In honor of his retirement we will  present a generous scholarship to a deserving ENL student who embodies the principles of effort, determination,  and perseverence in pursuit of their educational goals and dreams.
