When Christopher David, a local Santiago boy, was 3 years old, he was severely beaten by his stepdad and thrown out of a 2nd Story window, where he was left for over a day before anyone was allowed to help him.
Hi grandparents, Hugo and Clemencia have been his guardians ever since. They have tried very hard with their meager income to help him with his daily needs and ongoing therapy.
His injuries required surgery, and continuing physical therapy. Money is still needed for his therapy, medicine, and doctor's appointments.
He is now 9 years old, uses a kid-walk to move around, has a great outlook and a wonderful smile. He gets stronger every day and works hard at his rehabilitation.
