It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we must announce the passing of our father Chris Harris on Tuesday Sept 9th. With his energy, love and kindness for others we know he has impacted many people throughout his life. Whether you were a stranger, friend or a cashier at one of his "go to" spots; our Dad was always spreading his love, lending his ear and telling a story or two....or six. He was loved deeply and will be missed by many across the areas he called home throughout his life. We will be hosting a celebration of life ceremony in North Port, Florida and a formal ceremony at the Veterans cemetery in Boscawen, NH. More details the date, time and locations of those ceremonies will follow. We are hoping to raise funds for fees, travel costs, and ceremonial arrangements. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. We were blessed to have him as a father, friend, and mentor and we hope to hear stories of how he has impacted others as well. As dad would say ODAAT. It is the philosophy dad lived by, and one that will carry us through these hard times.
