I heard Tim is needing a surgery and has shitty insurance due to some bad luck, hard times and a broken healthcare system. I was in the same situation on my 40th birthday (a little over a year ago) and it's like being stuck in a vice . . . it's helpless. Not a good place to be.
I have the luxury of a very large and compassionate group of siblings. I know most of Tim's family and they are the same, but I wanted to get this started. The fact is, Tim played at my 40th birthday party and didn't even ask me for any money. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't let me give him the money I pulled out to force on him.
There are a number of you that have had the same experience with Tim. Say what you want about his political or religious preferences, or lacks thereof, Tim Shepard is one of the good ones. He has a huge heart for his family and considers everyone part of it.
The surgery my family paid for changed my outlook, helped me recover from a terrible accident and is the reason I can walk without pain right now. I have offered to repay it, but those sons of bitches won't take the money. That being the case, this is my way to repay it. This being the Christmas season, it's the perfect time to show how miraculous this time of year can be by helping someone that we all love and that would do the same for you if given the chance.
