Christmas presents for 100 Nicaraguan children

After volunteering in a beautiful Nicaraguan community called Loma Fría and telling the story back in the U.K, with the help of my good friend Davie Loveridge, we are raising money to send Christmas gifts to every child in the community so that they can enjoy a Christmas different to any other they have experienced.
Struck with poverty, these amazingly kind people live off of approximately £3.50 per day for a family up to 8.
With your help, we will be sending 100 shoe boxes to the community for the 100 children who live there, from as young as 10 months up to 14 years old.
Davie came up with this beautiful idea to help those less fortunate, and as such, 100% of the proceeds will be used for shipping these shoe boxes filled with gifts to the children. Cost of shipping is £983.04.
We also ask that if you cannot donate money, if you would be so kind to donate anything you deem appropriate that is lying around your house and not being used. Secondhand kids clothes, old toys, games... anything that we could send to these lovely children to send the gift of good will and Christmas.

Likewise, any person who is able to donate money or clothes toward the cause will be rewarded further. Of course this is under the discretion of each individual, but we will be writing a Christmas card in each box with the names of everyone who helped!
We will ask the community to record a message after receiving the gifts as proof and a spread of joy for your hard work.
