This joyous season is one of the few celebrations our children experience each year.

We share the hope that we have from the birth of Jesus Christ with the children and the community each Christmas at our celebration.

We have a special meal together. It is one of the children's best memories made each year.

For our unsponsored children, receiving a gift is an incredibly rare occasion happening only on Christmas seasons when there is enough funding raised. It is sometimes the only opportunity to get the new clothes or shoes that they need.

Last year's Christmas cake was a true delight for all of us.

We put up some decorations, sang carols, performed skits, and opened gifts. We made this a very festive party!

This holiday season, Gonza House Ministries has unique needs as it faces 40+ unsponsored children that need care. I'm asking for your help.

The Need For Food

Monthly sponsorship gifts serve to help feed and educate the orphans cared for by this ministry. With so many children (about half in their care) unsponsored, it has become difficult to feed the children every day. Monetary gifts of any amount can go a long way towards feeding the children at Gonza House. This is our highest need at present. If you would like to help fund food for the children at Gonza House Ministries, please comment "For Food" when giving your donation. It is greatly appreciated!

The Need For Personal Bibles

Gonza House Ministries is a faith-based ministry committed to sharing the love of Christ with the children they care for and the local community. Gonza House hosts church services every Sunday for the community. While they were able to provide Bibles for all of the children in their care at one time, the ministry has since grown and some Bibles were lost in the fire that occurred in July of this year. They are in need of Personal Bibles for many of the children as well as for the weekly church services.

The Need For Christmas Gifts

Lastly, we ask for help funding gifts for, specifically, our unsponsored children who may not receive a Christmas gift otherwise. Our sponsored children may receive a gift or letter from their sponsor family on their birthday, for Christmas, and/or throughout the year, but our unsponsored children rarely do. We have over 40 unsponsored children. We would love for each and every child at Gonza House to have a gift this Christmas of some small toy or other needed thing such as clothing or school supplies. If you would like to give a gift to a child that may not receive a Christmas gift otherwise, please comment "For Christmas Gifts" when donating. You would not believe the joy that a small gift brings our children.
