Post Fire: X-Mas Gift for Mike Goss

As many of you know our home burned down November 18th.  We have received countless offers for help, which is greatly appreciated, but everything is pretty much taken care of.  We our staying in a hotel until December 9th and then are moving into an appartment until our home is completely repaired (8-12 months).  A restoration company is cataloging all of our possessions, so no help is needed there. 

My dad renovated our house with his bear hands.  Over the past 4 years he redid the family room and kitchen.  He literally just finished the kitchen a couple weeks before the fire.  Before the fire happened my dad had mentioned he wanted Jeff Lynne's ELO on DVD.  I had planned on buying him that for Christmas as well as tickets to their show in Rosemont on August 15th for his Christmas present.  I was just planning on buying some cheap seats, but in light of current events I know my dad needs a MAJOR pick me up.  I'd love to get him and my mom some seats in the first couple rows.  It would be a dream concert for him.  I'm estimating it to be somewhere between $2000 and $2500 on the secondary market.  Unfortunately, seats this good are already sold out on Ticketmaster.
