Christmas for Potato Bears

I know it has been a tough year for everyone so I'm not getting my expectations too high, but I still wanted to try to do this Christmas fundraiser!  This year I'm raising money to benefit the Humane Society of Chittenden County. Part of the reason I chose them is specifically because 2020 has been so terrible and they have a Rainy Day Fund to keep owners and pets together when urgent, expensive veterinary needs threaten to split them apart. From their website:

"The Humane Society of Chittenden County’s main goal is to keep pets with the people who love them and the cost of medical care remains a top reason why pets  are relinquished. To help members of our community avoid having to part ways with their beloved companions, HSCC's Rainy Day Fund offers financial assistance for Chittenden and Grand Isle County residents who are unable to pay for their pet's unanticipated emergency medical treatment. This service is completely donor-funded and truly makes a difference in the lives of people & their pets."

HSCC is also where we adopted our beloved and dearly missed Magpie. She was the most calm and gentle cat we've ever known and we were so fortunate to spend 12 years with her. She passed away over year ago but we still miss her every day.

They also accept and educate the public regarding FIV cats, a subject close to my heart due to our glorious FIV+ rascals, Fergus and Francie.

So anyway, please consider a donation if you can. Truly, even $2-3 would be appreciated but NO APOLOGIES if you can't! We are all doing our best and I won't tolerate anyone feeling bad if they can't give.
