Christmas cheer in the Children’s Ward

Everyone hopes to be home for the
holidays- there’s something innately
comforting about the warm embrace of
family and the traditions you keep with
them, from decorating cookies to trying
to stay up all night to catch Santa!

For children facing cancer or other
life-threatening diseases, being in
treatment during the holidays can be
particularly difficult because they are
missing out on those familiar comforts of home and the love shared there.

This is my 7th year in a row of supporting local families in need but this years
recipients are a bit different from the
past.

I am supporting a place that is near and
dear to my heart,
Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital in
Hollywood Florida.

In conjunction with the Nursing
department at Utica College our goal,
is to provide toys, games and as much
cheer possible to the children and
families spending their Christmas and
beyond in the hospital.

How do you help?!

I am in need of 25 sponsors for these
wholly deserving children!

Due to Covid-19 and stringent health
and safety protocols there are 2 main
ways to help;

1. You would shop for the specific items
listed (see photo) they must be
*BRAND NEW* and unwrapped.

*I will coordinate for contactless pick up/
drop off from you!

2. If you would like to contribute
monetarily, (Preferred) I will gladly
complete the shopping!! 

A N Y donation amount is truly
appreciated, every single dollar is going
to the children!

I ask that all donations or gifts be given
to me, no later than ‪Tuesday
December 15th, which is in exactly TWO weeks!!!
