As a police officer, I often meet people from all walks of life, but every so often, a family truly touches my heart. Recently, I encountered a local family who could use a Christmas blessing more than ever. They have a two-week-old baby and a three-year-old son, and while they are doing their best, this season has brought extra challenges. They have no idea that I am starting this GoFundMe—it's meant to be a surprise, a way to show them that their community cares.

 The funds raised will go directly to helping this family with basic needs for their new addition, as well as household essentials and, of course, some Christmas gifts. I want to make sure they feel the warmth and support of those around them, especially during the holidays. Every dollar will help ease their worries and bring a little more joy to their home.
