Christmas Goodies For the Homeless

Hi everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read about my fundraiser!
My name is Noemy and I wanted to give back to the community by putting together Christmas baggies for the homeless! No one should be excluded from the joy of the holidays! With the winter season coming up comes cold weather. Covid has also affected many families leaving them no choice but to live homeless. Cold weather, no home and an unforeseen future is what these folks are dealing with. We can give back to the community with a little donation to help provide them with necessities and a little bit of joy!
Baggies will include necessities such as toothbrushes, hygienic products, blankets, and a Christmas product to spread some holiday cheer! (Products will vary. Recommendations are encouraged! )
Depending on the amount raised, I will use the funds to purchase the most essential products first to place in the baggies.
How it works: Funds will be collected to purchase items necessary for the homeless. Items will be placed into baggies or boxes to be handed out to those in need. I will be driving around the Los Angeles area possibly hitting multiple cities looking for anyone out in the street that could benefit from our goody bags.
Important to note : Every single penny will go to these baggies/boxes. This is nonprofit and nothing will go to me personally. As an extra security measure, I will be uploading the receipts sometime after the fundraiser has ended and products have been purchased on my Instagram page via stories or posts.
Any amount is welcomed!! Even if just cents, the total will accumulate with everyone's donations! Your donations can go a long way . Here are some examples:
. Toothbrush - ¢0.17 each
.Feminine hygiene (pads) - ¢0.22 each
.Beanie & mittens - ¢3.13 a pair
. Deodorant- ¢1.90 each
.Pair of socks - $1.00
.Snacks- ¢0.46 each
.Candy cane - ¢0.11 each
End date- Undecided. I will try to gather up as much funds as possible as we near Christmas. I also have to consider the shipping time it will take for bulk packages to arrive. The sooner the better!
