I was diagnosed last October with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. I have been on 2 types of oral chemo and have had targeted radiation for 0lesions in my spine and my brain. The past Ct scans and MRI show progression in my brain and lung. My oncologist is having a new biopsy done to decide if I should try one more type of oral chemotherapy or if it is time to go to intravenous chemo. We have health insurance that covers 80% of most medical bills but 20% is not covered. While dealing with physical side effects and emotional stress it has been very stressful worrying bills. I would like to spend time enjoying my family and friends, maybe even doing some day trips. It is difficult asking for help but I don't want my pride to keep me from asking. Any contribution is appreciated. The biggest surprise in this journey has been how many people have reached out to me with love and support. I can honestly say that I know I have been blessed by all the love that I have had.
