Dream Fulfilling Study Abroad

Donation protected
I have just found out I've been accepted to do a 3 month study abroad exchange program in my dream country: AUSTRALIA! Hello! Most of you reading this will know me, but perhaps there will be a few who will find this page on "accident" and let's see if I can inspire your heart to participate by supporting my adventure. My name is Christian and since I was a child it's been my dream to travel to "the land down under". In February 2012 I moved from my home in Colorado to Charlotte, North Carolina to finish my Bachelor's Degree at Johnson & Wales University. After transferring my Associate's Degree of Business, I only need be in school 2 years to accomplish my Sports, Entertainment, and Event Management degree. Working in events; hosting, planning, coordinating, organizing, managing; has been the one constant in my life and I finally discovered I could receive an education within my dream field! My education is of great importance and while in full time school I work full time, volunteer part time at a variety of places, as well as network and attend career meetings my school offers. I have been on the Dean's List with an overall 3.84 GPA every term I've been at Johnson & Wales and nominated for a leadership summit I had to turn down because of my work schedule. In November 2012 I discovered that I can compliment my career education with international skills and experience in my dream travel opportunity. What you see before you is a "wish list" of things I need to fully grasp this passion of mine. While you look at the wish list and think, "that's a lot", you're right, it is. But I want to reassure you that I am working myself and doing my due diligence. I am NOT relying on others support, though it would be most grateful and beneficial to me. I pride myself in my work ethic and it would not be just for me to expect others to pay my way. Additionally, by going in the spring of 2014 when I am, I am being charged normal tuition rates so that my scholarships and loans pay for the actual study part of the experience. It's everything outside of the "schooling" that needs help funding. Every penny will pay for things I've listed in my "wish list" - airfare, arrival transportation, dress code uniform, textbooks, and obtaining a student visa etc... Other ways you can support me: PRAYER - this will be a trying experience I have no doubt, and besides, prayer isn't good just for me, but for the one praying as well. SHARE - please share my story with others. You can talk to people, write letters, Facebook, Tweet, Email, Blog, whatever other way you can think of. ENCOURAGE - please, know that encouragement goes a long way. For both of us. It's good to encourage each other and to receive encouragement. SUGGEST - hey, tell me other ideas you have on how I can raise more money for this adventure.
