Help Christian go to School

Christian is a 11 year old boy who has been through a lot in his short time on earth.
My son was diagnosed with cancer at 5 years old.
Christian has been in remission for 6 years now and we could not be more grateful that he is alive and healthy with us today.
Although his chemotherapy treatments (which consisted of chemotherapy via a mediport as well as through his spinal cord) saved Christian's life, it also causes neurological side effects that cause issues with Christian's reading, understanding, writing, memory skills and processing.
We have spent years and most recently within the past two and a half years seeing therapists, doctors and finally an inspiring teacher. This private teacher, Erin Colligan, has been his support line and has given Christian, the opportunity to believe in himself, and learn how to turn mistakes into experiences while learning from them. Unfortunately, Christian needs a more intensive remediation which our present local school can not offer.
We have made the tough decision to send Christian to a private school that will give him an academic program personalized for his learning disabilities. Our decision is a financial burden however how can we, as parents, not give him the opportunity to learn the necessary reading and writing skills to succeed in life.
It is very hard to ask for help but as a parent I will do anything for my child. Christian has been through so much already.
We are hoping to get 1,200 individuals to donate $20.00 to our mission and reach our goal of
$24, 000.
