Hey guys! Soooo I am pleased to say that I got accepted to attend Summer 2018 DTS (Discipleship Training School) at YWAM Denver (Youth With A Mission) in Denver, Colorado! It is a 5 month program that begins June 25, 2018. The first 3 months is the lecture phase, and the last 2 months is the outreach phase where we will be sent out to spread the love of Jesus to Kenya & Tanzania!
Everyone I know that has attended YWAM has said that this school is one of the best things that they have ever done, and that it has impacted their lives in a huge way. I recently attended my cousin Easton Toles YWAM graduation at the Denver base and spent some time at the base throughout the week. I fell in love with the campus and felt at home instantly, and the students and staff were amazing! During that time I realized that this is something that I want to do, and that I believe The Lord also wants me to do. I believe it will bring me into a much deeper relation with the Lord, and that it will give me a greater revelation of His calling on my life.
Getting to go to this school would mean so much to me, and if you would like to support me in this aspect of my life, I would appreciate it SO MUCH! I literally can not do this on my own!
Financially, I need to raise exactly $3,795 by my first day (June 25, 2018). That is for my 3 month lecture phase where I will be fully submerged in getting to know God.
I will need to have $1,500 raised by the time my first month there is up for flight tickets for my Outreach Phase. The Outreach Phase will cost anywhere from $3K total. The other $1,500 will be due at a later time. I will keep you guys posted.
Another way you can help, most importantly, is prayer. Although exciting, this is going to be a tough journey, WHERE THERE ARE LIONS I might add haha, and I’m gonna need God to guide me every step of the way. So please pray!!!
