Diane Hand DiLorenzo passed peacefully on Dec 10, 2021 after a hard fought battle with Breast Cancer. She was only 56 years old and left a beloved 20 year old son, Christian. Diane was the bravest person we know. She not only bravely battled cancer but suffered the tragic loss of her son James 15 years ago at the age of 19. She was the brightest light in the room with the most infectious smile. She loved to have a good time and the stories of mischief and laughing til we cried are too many to recount. She fought hard and loved even harder. She loved her family, her friends, her pediatric dental patients (especially those with special needs)and all living creatures, especially dogs which she fostered, rescued, transported and found so many loving homes for. She also gave the gift of life to so many others donating the organs of her late son and herself giving the gift of sight to 2 people through cornea donation.

Her son Christian is currently a student at North Carolina State University. He has a bright mind and Diane’s wish was to see him graduate and for him lead a purposeful and successful life. All proceeds from this will be used for those purposes . Thank you from the bottom of ours hearts for your generosity.
