My name is Chris Christal. A few years ago I decided I wanted to run for State Senate to make a difference. I was running on more equalized education, less corruption in elected officals and an educational approach to drug offenses rather than a repremanding one. Through a series of unfortunate events, I quit the race. Or so I thought.....
A year later, I was served a law suit at work telling me I'm being sued for $25,000. I thought I could clear this up with a phone call since it was for campaign finance reports and I raised NO MONEY. After my first conversation, I realized it was a BIG deal. I finally went to court and was "heard" and received judgment in the mail on 6/9/14 for the amount of 25,000 + attorneys fees. I dont have $25,000, so I've started making payments, but I need to pay this off. I can't run again, my recent attempt at buying a house failed, I can't finance anything until this judgment is satisfied. I realize that it's all my fault, but WITH NEVER HAVING RAISED ANY MONEY, THE JUDGMENT IS HARDLY FAIR. I'm reaching out to the community that I wanted to help, for help.
