<div><strong> Christ Bop: Dance – The Video Game</strong>
</div>
<div>Now Funding on GoFundMe
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It’s Chris Chris here, and this is the ongoing crowdfunding launch of Christ Bop: Dance, The Video Game!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re raising $400,000 to build something the Christian community has never seen before — a full-on, joyful, mobile motion capture and tracking dance game that celebrates Jesus, the Bible, and Christian/Gospel music.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is a dance game I’ve dreamed of creating since I was a kid. It’s all about combining high-energy praise, fun gameplay, and music that glorifies God. With your help, we can bring this game to life and give the Christian community something new to celebrate.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> A Note to Our Supporters</strong>
</div>
<div>You may have seen our earlier campaign for Christ Bop: Dance on Indiegogo. While it helped us gather interest and early encouragement, that campaign did not meet its funding goal, and no game was developed as a result (<em>Indiegogo backers will still receive their rewards when the game is launched</em>).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then we relaunched through Kickstarter — with updated visuals, tighter goals, and a clearer roadmap. We raised $11,487 from 275 backers, which was incredible... but unfortunately, not enough to build a mobile motion dance game with custom characters, original music, and gesture tracking.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And since Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing platform, no pledges were charged. If you pledged — thank you. Your support was not in vain.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every step helped shape the next. And here’s what we’ve learned:
</div>
<div>30 days isn’t enough. 60 days isn’t enough.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So now... we’re moving everything over to GoFundMe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> Why GoFundMe?</strong>
</div>
<div>GoFundMe gives us the ability to raise money indefinitely, which means:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>No time limits
</li>
<li>No canceled pledges
</li>
<li>No pressure to rush this process
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Whether it takes 6 months or 3 years, we’ll now have enough time to fully campaign, promote, and raise the right amount of funding to make this happen — the right way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> What is Christ Bop: Dance?</strong>
</div>
<div>Christ Bop: Dance is a mobile motion-tracking dance game I’m aiming to create that lets you dance to faith-based music while celebrating Jesus and the Bible. The vision is to give players joyful choreography and powerful Christian music in both single-player and multiplayer modes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re starting with mobile as our first platform, using your front-facing camera to capture movement and bring praise to life. With enough funding, we hope to expand to console and VR as well.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> What Makes It Special?</strong>
</div>
<div>This isn’t just another dance game. This is movement as ministry, where everything you experience reflects biblical values and Christian joy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Songs that glorify Jesus – original tracks + plans to license from indie and major gospel artists
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mobile motion-powered gameplay – using your phone’s front-facing camera
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>‍High-energy choreography – made with love by dancers
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Avatars, themed backgrounds &amp; emotes – dance your faith your way
</div>

</div>
<div><strong> Where We’re At So Far</strong>
</div>
<div>This dream has been years in the making, and here’s what we’ve done so far:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>✅ Purchased and used a professional motion capture suit
</div>
<div>✅ Designed and rigged two original 3D characters
</div>
<div>✅ Produced a teaser showcasing gameplay concept and vision
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This teaser isn’t the final version. It’s a glimpse of what’s coming once the game is fully funded.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> Where the $400,000 Will Go</strong>
</div>
<div>Game Development – UI/UX, engineering, backend systems
</div>
<div>Creative Talent – dancers, choreographers, Christian artists, visual designers
</div>
<div>Technology – mobile gesture tracking, visual FX, sound design
</div>
<div>Marketing &amp; Ops – outreach, community management, player support
</div>
<div>Sync Licensing – licenses to use your favorite songs in the game
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is still Phase One. Future campaigns may cover expansions like more songs, additional dances, multiplayer features, and console ports.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> Why This Game Matters</strong>
</div>
<div>There are dance games out there… but none like this. None that center around Jesus or Scripture. This is the perfect time to give believers something joyful, safe, and faith-filled.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Christ Bop: Dance is for families, youth groups, Christian creators, and anyone who wants to praise and play at the same time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It’s not just fun.
</div>
<div>It’s worship in motion.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><strong>‍ About Me</strong>
</div>
<div>@chrischris011 — Born &amp; raised in Detroit.
</div>
<div>I work in graphic design, 3D art, audio, acting, and dance. I’ve built a platform of over 1 million supporters across TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram by creating clean, faith-based content: Christian rap, Bible skits, gospel parodies, and more.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Christ Bop: Dance started from a skit. I made dance cards. People asked for more. And now — we have a real shot at making something incredible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>⚠️ Risks and Challenges</strong>
</div>
<div>3D Gameplay vs Stylized Video: If funding is limited, we may start with simpler dance clips before full 3D
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Gesture Tracking Limits: Initial versions may use basic mobile motion detection before scaling up
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>App Store Timing: Launch timing may vary depending on mobile platform approvals

<div><strong> FAQs</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What kind of Christian music will be in the game?</strong>
</div>
<div>The game will feature a wide variety of uplifting music that glorifies Christ. Expect to hear popular Christian and gospel songs, praise dance anthems, Christian hip-hop and Christian rap, contemporary gospel, traditional gospel, and CCM (contemporary Christian music). Every song is chosen to keep your spirit lifted and your feet moving.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What if you can’t get big-name Christian artists right away?</strong>
</div>
<div>We’re starting with amazing indie artists who are already making waves, and we’re in active conversations to bring in more established Christian artists over time. Even at launch, the soundtrack will be joyful, energetic, and spirit-filled.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Will there be new songs and routines added later?</strong>
</div>
<div>Yes. We plan to update the game with new songs, avatars, and dances.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Is this safe for kids and families?</strong>
</div>
<div>Yes. The game is designed with clean content, positive messages, and uplifting Holy Spirit-filled music. It’s safe and fun for all ages.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How does Christ Bop Dance plan to integrate community feedback and collaborations with Christian artists to enhance its musical library and gameplay experience?</strong>
</div>
<div>We’re planning to bring the community in every step of the way. Backers who donate $100 or more will get early access to the beta, so they can help shape the gameplay, song selection, and overall vibe. I'm all about making this with y’all, not just for y’all. We’re also working to collaborate with Christian and Gospel artists—both indie and big names—to expand the music library. Some of the budget is going toward licensing and creating original tracks that truly glorify God and get people moving.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How can I submit songs to be on the game?</strong>
</div>
<div>Since every song in the game requires choreography and motion capture animations, we charge a substantial submission fee for direct song placement requests. If you're interested in submitting your song, please contact us with the subject line: "Paid Song Submission Request". At this time, we’re not accepting unpaid submissions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What devices will the game be available on?</strong>
</div>
<div>Our goal is to launch on recent iOS and Android phones that can process visual data and run the game smoothly. We also plan to support casting to your TV for a full living room experience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Will the game use my phone’s camera?</strong>
</div>
<div>Yes. One of our goals is to use your phone’s front-facing camera to detect your gestures and movements. Depending on funding, we’ll either launch with simplified motion detection or invest in more advanced gesture tracking technology.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Do I need any extra equipment to play?</strong>
</div>
<div>Nope! All you need is your smartphone. No VR headset or console required. Just open the app, hit play, and dance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How much will the game cost?</strong>
</div>
<div>We plan to make the game available for a low one-time purchase. This helps us cover development and server costs while keeping it accessible for everyone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>When will the game be released?</strong>
</div>
<div>Whenever the funding goal is reached. This gives us the time we need to deliver a high-quality experience, while also allowing for testing, polishing, and early backer feedback before the full launch.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What’s the ROI?</strong>
</div>
<div>Since this is a crowdfunded campaign, there’s no direct financial return for backers unless someone is coming on board as a formal investor. However, there’s a spiritual ROI—giving believers (and those unfamiliar with Christian music) a fun, uplifting way to engage with songs that glorify Jesus. It’s not just a dance game; it’s ministry through movement, music, and joy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Once the game is launched, the potential for financial ROI would come from paid app downloads, in-app purchases, merch, and possibly licensing deals with churches, schools, or Christian organizations. Long-term, there’s also opportunity to grow Christ Bop into a broader media platform—think music packs, live events, DLCs, and more.
