Chrissy Kickin' Cancer

In the middle of November, Chris noticed some bruising but wasn't too concerned at first. On December 1st, she went to the doctor for an earache and they did bloodwork.   Chris was not expecting her life to be flipped upside down when she got a call that evening from her primary care doctor saying that her platelet count was at emergency level and she needed to go to the ER. She was admitted to the hospital the next morning and diagnosed with Acute Leukemia the following week. Chris was admitted to the oncology unit at Christ Hospital for intense treatments.  She has been getting a daily chemo pill and also given chemo through her central line. She is also receiving platelets to help her counts. Chris is experiencing fatigue, pain, and loss of appetite.  She enjoys her morning walks and family time with her husband and two daughters.  With the stress of a scary diagnosis, I wanted to help relieve the worry about bills.  This page is to help raise money for the medical bills to Help Chris kick Leukemia!  I thought there is no better time to give than around the holidays, especially because Christmas is her favorite!
