Hope & Healing for the city of Brighton

Brighton is a small city on the southern coast of England. It's known as the "Las Vegas of the UK", being home to over 40 brothels, and it's currently the capitol for drug-related deaths in England. Financial and spiritual poverty is rampant.
England has become a post-religious country. With believers dropping by the millions over the past decade, there is now talk of Christianity "becoming extinct" in this generation.
But I believe Jesus has another plan.
I've had the honor of being able to visit Brighton many times, when I used to live in England. I could feel Jesus' heart for this city. It's full of diversity - artists, musicians, bakers, designers...the creative call Brighton "home." But it's a lonely, hopeless place for many. My heart has never forgotten Brighton. Christ has kept this place in my heart and mind for almost 3 years.
I was given the incredible blessing of being hired by Greater Europe Missions, to be sent into the UK. I purposely asked God to lead GEM to the correct city to send me to. They told me, that after a lot of prayer, Brighton kept coming to mind. The joy and gratitude I feel is overwhelming.
So, I'm moving to Brighton. This is the beginning of something that could continue into a lifetime of ministry work in the UK. I believe that Jesus hasn't forgotten the UK. I believe that Jesus wants his followers to get out there, to walk side by side with every broken heart.
I'll be working with a wonderful community of Christians at ONE CHURCH Brighton. They're heavily involved in their community, reaching out to the homeless, at-risk youth, broken families, and so much more. They're doing the work that Christ has called them to - and it's not easy. They need help. And I'm so thankful that Christ is letting me be a part of their beautiful story.
For the first year I'll be living there, I'll be under a charity worker's visa. Therefore, I have to raise a year's worth of living expenses before I leave.
Will you stand by me in this? Will you use the gift of finances to help further a cause that our Father cares so deeply about?
