With the cancer growing again, he must begin radiation treatment, making travel more difficult and urgent. His only wish is to be able to see Disney at Christmas, you all know he loves Christmas. But with staying at hotels for treatments because we need to stay 3 ft apart and can't sleep in the same bed. It is costing me too much to be able to make this trip happen.
We were to be down in FL from Nov to end of the year with our travels, but now with treatment all has been stopped.
This holiday season, between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I want to fulfill Chris’s wish and create a joyful memory for us both. The funds raised will help cover travel, accommodations, a car, and park tickets—ensuring Chris is comfortable and able to enjoy every moment. This trip is more than a vacation; it’s a chance to bring hope and happiness during a challenging time, and to celebrate the love we share.
Every contribution will help us make this dream a reality. Thank you for supporting Chris’s wish and helping us create a special holiday together.
Changes that happened in the last month, and stopped us from our travels.
They moved his pet scan from Sept 9th and rushed it to Aug 27th. We met with urologist on Aug 29th and viewed the pet scan.
Tumors that showed in June have doubled in size in about 2 months and 1 week time difference.
He has multiple new tumor growths 3 spots near his lungs, it also has now progressed to the skull, a big one on is abdomen lining again. A tumor growth in his right thigh bone. The one on center of spin grew larger.
There are some smaller spots starting also. We meet with radiologist on Sept 3rd to get radiation started to try and extend life. he starts radiation on sept 25, 2025 and will be in treatment till May 16, 2026.
We met with pain management and palliative care on Friday. We have started to make in writing all arrangements needed with things coming at us to fast.
Time is not on our side anymore since nothing is slowing it down and holding it at bay. Drs are at a loss as to doing anything else but Chemo and Radiation, he has no other options for meds that will work with how aggressive it is.
We know and he finally admits it that we might only have 2-3 years left. So we are going to keep him as comfortable as we can right now.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated to make this happen this year for him between treatments when I know he can travel safely
