Bringing back democracy in the City

The City of Joondalup, in Western Australia, is a dynamic City covering 22 suburbs and over 169,000 residents. Our Local Government is the 2nd biggest in Western Australia. The Local Government election is in October and campaigns are starting to 6 of 12 councillors and the Mayor. Our city and community has been very divided over activities of the current Council and we really need an independent Mayor, who has no ties to local social or business interests.

As a proud father, of two daughters, and resident, who can dedicate himself to the role of Mayor, I will respect and listen to the voice of our community, local families, local community groups and our local businesses.  I am a passionate believer in the need for communities to be part of the decision process via engaged councillors who actively seek out the communities opinions and ideas.

I bring 25+ years of experience driving efficiency and transparency across Local Governments in Western Australia, Nationally and Internationally. As Mayor, I will ensure good governance, accountability, transparency and efficiency. I will deliver the overall community needs in the most efficient and effective way.

As a single parent I need support of my friends, contact's and the community to fund my campaign. Without you I cannot be successful and deliver on my commitments to help the community in the current challenging economic times. I hope you can support me and prove that democracy works and anyone can raise the money and participate in building stronger communities.
