Life Changing event

Chris and Cassie are high school sweethearts who married in October of 2017.  They live in Florida, where Chris works for Boston Whaler, building boats.  In January of this year, while Chris was on his way to work on his motorcycle, a car pulled out in front of him.  Although he is lucky to be alive, Chris' injuries include two broken femurs, three broken vertebrae, fractured pelvis and a shoulder injury.  After numerous surgeries, he now has metal rods in his legs and back.  He is home now, as time and physical therapy are the only methods left to heal his broken body.  He is expected to walk again, but not for at least another 4 weeks.  His new wife, Cassie, continues to work full-time while also taking care of him.  The driver at fault had only minimum liability insurance; a consult with an attorney resulted in no restitution for the Gilberts.  These kids need help... they are strong, but they need money to help cover the loss of his income from Boston Whaler.  Cassie's family is in California, and is hoping to get the two of them back to their home state, where they have the moral and emotional support that will be needed in the months to come.  But right now, they just need to cover basic living expenses.
