Chris's Bike Crash Recovery
Donation protected
My name is Jennifer Williams wife of Christopher Williams. Chris is 39 and has 4 children, he does whatever he can for anyone that needs it. He is the type of person that will give to someone when they are in need. He is very caring and loving and try's to help everyone. Chris is a truck driver and works non stop for our family staying out 3 weeks at a time. He is normally home only 2 days a month. We recently went and got two motorcycles so we could spend time riding when he was home. On Sunday September 6th 2020 Chris and I went for a ride and he was involved in a bad motorcycle accident. I was following him when the accident occurred. He was not speeding but hit some loose gravel around a curve at about 30 miles an hour and flipped the bike. When he landed the bike landed on him. I had to have help pulling the bike off of him and was lucky that a couple of men were passing by to help me. We were in the middle of cornfields on Highway 18 and the only answer I can come up with for having cell service is that God had to have been there with us. He was life flighted to Research Medical in Kansas City MO and admitted into the trauma unit. He was placed on a ventilator, he has 4 broken ribs, a fracture in his back, was bleeding from his spleen, a spot on his kidney and a horrible concussion. Even today he still doesn't understand why he is there. He tells me it is because of his health and that he thinks family has died. He told me today he was worried about our grandchildren (we don't have grandchildren.) He has short term memory loss and can't stand on his own. He has a long road to recovery and this is why I am setting this Go Fund Me account up. I wasn't going to because we don't want a hand out, but with as much time as he is going to need off work to recover and the bills that are going to be coming in I was not sure what to do. I am praying that he recovers quickly and that I get my husband back to the goofy loving guy he is. Please help if you can and prayers are needed!
