Chris Wynn aka "Black Creek Wynn"

Donation protected
Chris Wynn, class of Robinson '89, has been severely impacted by Hurricane Irma in Jacksonville, FL.  He lives on Black Creek, which had historic flooding/rising waters - he made it out with only a few possessions, before he had to leave, as the water became too deep.  This is a picture of the house his grandfather built in the 1940’s, which he inherited - it was very special to him and his family.  He found that the water reached twice as high as this, during the peak of the flooding, once he could go inside yesterday to survey the damage.  He will essentially have to demolish his home and either rebuild or start over again someday.

A close group of his high school friends wanted to create this page, to show him how much we want to help in any way we can.  If we can just raise enough for some new clothes, necessities, or even a small amount to put towards rebuilding, it would be greatly appreciated.  He is grateful to be alive (and saved his cherished Mustang and guitars!) but we hope that this will lift his spirits a bit and know that we care.  PLEASE spread the word, especially to those who don’t have Facebook! We know there are many people in Jacksonville who know Chris, so please don’t hesitate to send this link to them, as well.  You can remain anonymous and/or leave a few words of encouragement – thank you to everyone in advance.  We love you Chris!!!  Chad Castrence, Cat Fieser Castrence, Jake Eltzeroth, Paul Stark, George Yorns, Janie Moyer Yorns, Lynn Rudd Embs & Ariane Gardino Porter (classes of Robinson ’89 and ’90)
