Dear Family and Friends,
At age 19, I was first misdiagnosed with "adult onset asthma", although it never quite "acted like asthma", doctors would say. At age 40, I was again misdiagnosed with emphysema, although I'd never smoked! 6 years ago, between my doctor, and doctors at UCSF, I was finally correctly diagnosed with a progressive lung disease; bronchiectasis.
In spite of continual bouts of lung problems, I have chosen to focus on the joy of raising my three wonderful children, spending time with my 5 precious granddaughters , my work, school, and remaining active in my community and my Center for Spiritual Living.
This past year, however, I have been hospitalized 5 times, resulting in a serious progression of the bronchiectasis! I'm currently on oxygen 24/7, putting quite a crimp in my life.
Recently, I've been in contact with the Whitaker Wellness Clinic in Newport Beach, which specializes in stem cell therapy. Stem cell therapy can markedly improve the quality of my life, and I am very hopeful. After much research about how stem cell therapy would work for me, I'm ready!
Asking anyone for help has always been difficult for me, but I don't want to pass this opportunity by. What I need right now, $10,000 to cover the treatment, and travel expenses.
