Chris W's Medical Fund
Donation protected
Yesterday, On Easter Sunday, Chris was on his way home to take care of his two dogs after stopping by to visit my family and was violently cut off by another motorist just a few streets away from home (near Grandview Ave in Norwalk, CT).
Chris was on his motorcycle (with his helmet on) and the other motorist took off without stopping at all, leaving him on the street. He was rushed to Yale New Haven Hospital where they are keeping him for the next few days as they run more tests and also place him in surgery for a broken left shoulder.
Unfortunately Chris does not currently have medical insurance, and we're anticipating that he is going to receive some pretty hefty bills after this accident and will likely need to be out of work while he recovers from surgery.
He has a good friend helping out with his dogs, and I've set up this GoFundMe page specifically to help with the medical bills that will be rolling in.
Many of you who see this may be friends and former classmates with Chris, and I'm asking you to please consider donating to help him out, and at least share this with your social networks to see what we can do. Every dollar counts, no matter how big or small!
Chris is a great guy, and would be the first person to hand you a shirt right off of his back or set up a campaign for someone in need as well. If you know him the way I do, you'll know that he does not have a lot of family around.
As his "little sister" I'm hoping that you will help as well, or reach out to me if you have questions or other ways that you'd like to help Chris.
