Chris Ragland Medical Fund

Chris Ragland was involved in a horrific house fire on July 13, 2017 in Eastern Henrico, Virginia. Chris suffered internal burns that have damaged his lungs, leaving him to fight each day for every breath. He is currently in a medically induced coma, which will allow his body time to heal. While he is on a significant amount of life support, and fighting valiantly as his family has always known him to do, they are putting Chris’ life in God’s hands and asking for His grace.

Chris is a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, well-loved and known throughout the community as a brave man who is always willing and ready to help others. Chris, through God’s strength, went into the burning home and was able to get his aunt out of the house to safety. Chris is a hero, though you will never hear those words come from such a strong, humble and kind man.

Your prayers, thoughts, concerns, and messages of love are all helping to carry Chris, his wife Debra Ragland, and his family through this time of crisis. The doctors are optimistic, but there is a long road of recovery and healing ahead.
