A few weeks ago, Chris Mulvehill's 5 kids and family got one of the scariest phone calls of their lives. Chris had been rushed to the ER at Plymouth Hospital and no one was able to update about his status for 45 minutes until arriving at the hospital in person. Not knowing if he was dead or alive, the only thing the hospital shared was, "we need family to get down here right away." After a few days of intubation, figuring out what was wrong, and a luxurious medevac helicopter ride later, Chris was sent to Boston Beth Israel for open heart surgery to replace his aortic valve.
Chris had the surgery and is in recovery at his son Tim and daughter-in-law Samantha's home in Roslindale. With the medical expenses from the pre and post surgery, Chris' kids are hoping for some financial support in covering the bills and helping their Dad get back on his feet, as he is already anxious to get back on the road and working! Not to fret, he is still his hilarious self - but about 20 lbs lighter! He can't wait for this fresh start to life :)
Please come work on YOUR cardio ;) on April 28th at 2:30pm with Chris' fam and help raise money! For $35 you can reserve a bike for a 45 minute spin class and have your name entered into a drawing for a pack of 5 classes at Turnstyle! We'll be planning to grab drinks and food somewhere after - would love for you to join the party!

Where: 310 Harrison Avenue, South End Boston
Parking: There is a good amount of street/meter parking but make sure to come extra early as SOWA customers often take the spots! Also, please arrive to the studio 15 minutes early to get your complimentary bike shoes for the ride and set your bike up!
