Why I'm Running for Highland City Council.
What a great place Highland is to raise a family! In 2007 we moved our family to Highland for its safe, family friendly environment, amazing people and great schools. We have been blessed so much to have lived here and just love our community.
During our time here in Highland I have been on the planning commission for the last 6 years. I am currently the Planning Commission Chairman and feel like Highand has done some great things, but we have also had some big mistakes. I feel like having a vote on the city council from someone with my background, knowledge of planning, zoning, development and some of the challenges Highland faces will be of great benefit to the residents of Highland.
Giving back and serving those that have given our family the chance to get a good education, have great friends and be safe is important to me. I believe in fiscal responsibility in government at ALL levels, common sense problem solving, and keeping our Highland values for future generations.
What can you do to help?
I am trying to raise $2000 to help get the word out and pay for campaign signs, flyers and advertising. 100% of donations will go towards these items and trying to make Highland the best possible place to live for all it's residents. Even if you can't donate money at this time please spread the word and get out the vote. Thanks for your help and your interest in our city!
