Chris Kearney versus Cancer

this past summer our dear friend Chris Kearney learned that he has inoperable cancer. His diagnosis and treatment have been a moving target as more imaging, diagnostic testing and treatment options are unveiled.
 

To fight this cancer as aggressively as it is attacking him Chris must put what we consider to be a normal life on hold and make his health a full-time job. To do that Chris has had to leave his job. Faced with the uncertainty of his health we want to take the uncertainty of his daily and medical expenses off the table so that he can fight the good fight.

 
Like many of us today, Chris has no short or long-term disability coverage, nor will he get any paid medical leave. So, we are reaching out to friends, family and strangers to help us to take the worry of money matters off Chris’ plate. We ask that you donate to this cause. And we ask that you share this fundraiser with all your Facebook friends, groups, cancer survivors and family members. And if you can’t donate, which we understand, will you take a moment and pass the word? Any help we can get for Chris will be greatly appreciated.
 

Chris has been a very active member of the recovery community for almost thirty years. He has helped countless people break the chains of alcoholism and addiction allowing them to lead happy, joyous and productive lives with many of them going on to help others to help others. His work with others has kept families together and reunited broken families. He has embodied the true spirit of altruism and now it is time for us to take care of him.

 
So, any help you can give to this cause is greatly appreciated and will allow Chris to focus on his health and well-being.
