Chris Howell's Fight with Cancer

I am starting this fundraiser in support of my husband, Chris Howell.
When Chris came home for the July 4th holiday in 2020 he was not feeling well. No energy, stomach discomfort and losing a lot of weight quickly he was convinced to go see the doctor. And then our lives changed.... we get phone call from the doctor's office at 4:45pm to come back to office immediately, even though they close at 5, they would wait on us.
On July 7th, 2020 at about 5:10pm we got the news.... Chris has Stage 4 cancer, showing cancer is multiple organs. The focus was to get point of origin identified... was it the stomach, the pancreas or the liver??? Colon Cancer Stage 4 metastasized to the lymph nodes and liver. Surgery was not an option then and still not an option today.
He will be starting treatment 10 of 12 of this treatment plan very soon, then it will be time for another CT to see what is next. So far he is responding well to chemo! We have already been to Kansas City to see an Advanced Cancer Oncologist for a consult, and that may be where we are heading next.
The treatments, appointments, travel and the cost to keep his insurance going, medical bills are adding up. Chris is a private person and would never ask for help himself, so I am. Even though his first round of treatment is almost complete, we also know that he still has a long road ahead of him.
He has a great support system in his family, work family and great friends to help keep him smiling through this fight, the fight for his life! Anything you can give is appreciated, please keep the prayers coming.
