Chris Heisner Cancer Relief Fund
Donation protected
Chris Heisner has battled colorectal cancer for 4 years. He has endured surgeries, radiation, various forms of chemotherapy, and countless doctor visits and tests. Although there have been a few small victories along the way, the cancer continues to spread. Chris is presently in a clinical trial at M.D. Anderson, but is consulting with his doctors and family about stopping as the treatment is worse than the disease itself. He has no quality of life left as the treatment makes him too sick and tired to function. It also gives him a head to toe skin rash that makes him feel like he is on fire from the inside out.
Chris has reached the point where he cannot work anymore. He is in the process of seeking early disability retirement from the Post Office as well as Social Security benefits, but the process takes some time. We are trying to raise money to bridge the gap! In battling this disease, this family has gone through all of their resources and Chris has used up all of his vacation and sick leave.
Chris and his wife Sylvia, and their 3 children Cody, Madison, and Josh, are incredibly grateful for anything that will provide their husband and father some relief. Chris and the family have tremendous faith that God will see them through this difficult season. We continue to boldly pray that God will heal Chris for His glory.
Thank you for whatever help that you can provide. While prayer is the most important thing we can do for Chris, lifting some of the financial burden will greatly help Chris focus on his family.
The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25 NLT
