Chris Farber Final Expenses & Celebration of Life

Our friend & brother Chris passed away suddenly and unexpectedly the night of Monday 9.21 of heart complications at the bright young age of 36. Unfortunately, as many of us plan to live forever he nor his family was not prepared for this and the burden of his burial has been placed on his grieving mother and brother.

Chris was a sweet and gentle soul that made an instant connection with any person he came in contact with. He was always interested and ready to experience something new and exciting. Chris was very involved in the nightlife of Minneapolis and Uptown area and loved to go to concerts, clubs and bars. Chris struggled to stay ahead as most of us do. At the time of his death he had a good secure job, was working very hard on his fitness and was saving money to get some tattoos he really wanted. If you ever came in contact with Chris you are sure to remember his awesome personality. 

DONATIONS:
We are asking friends, family and anyone that knew Chris to assist in his final burial and celebration of life. His family and some friends are still working out some details and the estimates for all expenses will exceed $10K. So we have set a goal of $8,500 to help alleviate some of this burden on the grieving family.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE DETAILS: (2 events) Saturday 10.3.20

Saturday DAYTIME: 4pm to 7pm
A gathering of family and friends will take place at the Boom Island Park in Minneapolis. Gathering from 4pm to 7pm and is open to anyone that can come and go as they please. We will have refreshments and some light food. Please feel free to bring anything you would like, as well.

Saturday EVENING: 9pm to Late
Chris loved downtown and uptown nightlife and we feel it would be great to gather as friends to have some drinks and share stories and reconnect with the people we grew up with, known for a long time and just met recently. We are deciding between 3 bars that are willing to participate and help us with drink & food specials for the gathering in either downtown or uptown. WE WILL UPDATE THIS CAMPAIGN AND SOCIAL MEDIA once we finalize details to spread the word where we will gather.
